From the biography of Robert Cialdini
The future famous American psychologist was born on April 24, 1945. Fame came to Robert after the publication of his book Psychology of Influence.
Cialdini received a solid professional education. He studied at state universities in North Carolina and Wisconsin. He graduated from graduate school at Columbia University (New York).
Throughout his research career, Robert worked primarily at Arizona State University. In addition, Chaldini taught and conducted research at Ohio State University, Stanford University, and several other US research and educational centers.
In 1996, Cialdini headed the Society of Personality Psychology and Social Psychology, becoming its president. He was awarded a number of prizes for his contribution to the development of social psychology and for the teaching of psychological science.
Chaldini stopped scientific activity in 2009.
