Against the background of modern melodies, the author's works are distinguished by a bright soulfulness. Khasanov created many choral, chamber-instrumental works, music for performances, films, radio shows.
The biography of Rome Makhmutovich began in 1947. The child was born in the village of Yazykovo on March 9 in a musical family. From an early age, the boy played various instruments, sang, and himself learned musical notation. At school, he actively participated in amateur performances. The young composer wrote variations, songs and sonatins.
At sixteen, Rome became a student in the theater department of the cult-education school in Sterlitamak. A year later, the young man decided to get an education at the conductor-choral department of the art school in Ufa. In the third year, the student moved to the theoretical and composer department.
In 1968, several works were created. The string quartet, poems for piano and symphony orchestra and the Negro Ghetto stand out. The young writer chose the vocal-instrumental genre as his main specialization. He created music and songs for pop groups. By the beginning of the seventies, the work of Rome became famous.
In 1968, a young man began his studies at the State Institute of Arts of Ufa. He chose the composition class of Professor Lakin, then studied with the national artist Ismagilov. During the training, a concert, several sonatas, a vocal cycle were written. Work on pop works was also not interrupted.
Writing
In 1973, after completing the institute course, Khasanov began working as an independent part at the Gafuri Academic Drama Theater. He created music for many famous and successful productions for many collectives of the republic. The busy work of the composer was complemented by work in the Republican Union of Composers.
As deputy chairman of the organization’s board, Rim Makhmutovich performed on radio and television, and conducted music education activities. He led the author's evenings, met with students, went on creative business trips.
Since 1978, Hasanov has been exclusively engaged in writing music. He left the theater. From the eighties and the beginning of the nineties, a large scale appeared in the work, the author’s technique became more virtuosic, the framework of style and genre significantly expanded. Lyrical and romantic features were clearly manifested in the creations.
The writer often used the texts of republican poets, and also wrote poetry himself. His creations "Ufa limes", "Aklima", "Winter romance", "My homeland" gained fame. An important role is assigned to instrumental compositions.
The concert for piano and orchestra outlines the interaction of folklore materials and modern trends. Sonata for cello and piano demonstrates the complexity of the author's language of music. The cycle "10 miniatures for piano" is focused on following the traditions of children's and national music. In the Temperames piano cycle, experiments with the timbre-register capabilities of the instrument were continued, and the microthermal technique was developed.
Tradition and Innovation
Khasanov created more than 400 ballads, romances and songs. Partially, creations were included in song collections, released in separate editions, recorded on disks.
