Sergey Puskepalis is a Russian and Soviet artist, theater director. This talented and organic actor became known to viewers on such films and TV shows: “Owl Cry”, “Metro”, “And In Our Yard”, “Big Money”, “Life and Fate”, “Yellow Tiger Eye” and many others.

early years
Sergei Vytauto Puskepalis was born on April 15, 1966 in the city of Kursk. His father - Vytautas Puskepalis comes from Lithuania, and his mother is from Bulgaria. Sergei’s father is a geologist by profession, their family lived in Chukotka in the town of Bilibino. As a child, Sergei wanted to become a military pilot.
In 1980, his family moved to the city of Saratov. At school, Sergei attends a drama club, and after graduating from the eighth grade, enters the theater school (on the course of Yuri Petrovich Kiselev).
After graduating from the Saratov Theater School in 1985, Sergei was drafted into the army. For three years he served in the Navy in the city of Severomorsk. In 1988, having been demobilized as a foreman, Sergey returned to Saratov.
Theater
In Saratov, Sergei Puskepalis takes a job at the theater of a young spectator to his former teacher Yuri Petrovich Kiselev. Under his leadership, he has served on the stage of the theater for more than ten years. The most famous roles of Sergei in this scene: Belugin by A.N. Ostrovsky's “Marriage of Belugin” and Donald Baker in the production of “These Free Butterflies” by Leonard Gersh.
In the late nineties, Sergey Puskepalis enters Moscow GITIS for a course with a teacher Petr Naumovich Fomenko. In 2001, after graduating from the directing department of GITIS, Puskepalis staged productions of “Twenty-seven” and “From the Red Rat to the Green Star”, in collaboration with Alexei Slapovsky.
