Biography
Pavel Ivanovich was born on 06/26/1925 in Chelishchev (Vologda Oblast). After school, he became a turner at the Sinarsky Pipe Plant (since 1942). In 1943, he volunteered for the army, studied at the Sarapul Aviation School.
Since 1944, he was sent to the Yeisk School to study as a sea pilot. After that, Belyaev was sent to Primorye. Naval aviation, where he served, participated in the war with Japan.
In the postwar years, he served in the Pacific Fleet, began to replace the squadron commander, and learned to fly in 7 different planes. In 1956, Belyaev was sent to study at the Air Force Academy.
