In the history of mankind there are a lot of white spots that have yet to be solved in the future. One of these puzzles was and remains the semi-mythical Atlantis.

They tried to find Atlantis since ancient times. Some seekers believe that she sank somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea. Others are trying to prove that it is still on the surface and that it is part of some continent. Still others stubbornly defend their opinion that Atlantis is simply fiction and nothing more. That there is not a gram of truth in the story about her and that information about her cannot be taken seriously. And it all started with one famous ancient Greek writer, philosopher, scientist and just smart person.
Aristocles - "Broad-shouldered"
Under the name Aristocles hides the more famous nickname Plato or from the ancient Greek - broad-shouldered. A disciple of Socrates, the founder of the theory of the primacy of ideas over matter, a supporter of utopian totalitarianism in the organization of an ideal state, this man is also known for his description of Atlantis. In his works you can find an indication that the island of Atlantes was located west of the Pillars of Hercules, near the mountains of Atlanta.
The island was inhabited by highly developed people. They possessed science, art and were much ahead of their time. But for unknown reasons, possibly as a result of technogenic activity, the island was buried under water after a strong earthquake. Plato indicates the time approximately nine thousand years ago. If you take into account the time of the scientist himself, you need to add another 500 years, having received 9, 500 BC.
