Based on the comic books about Superman, the popular American TV series Smallville talks about Clark Kent's youth and his emergence as a superhero forced to live among people. Young Clark fights with various manifestations of evil, falls in love, suffers - in general, lives an almost ordinary human life, gradually growing up and becoming wiser.

History of the series
The authors and executive producers of Smallville Secrets are Miles Millar and Alfred Gow. The idea of creating the series belongs to Joe Schuster and Jerry Siegel. The action takes place in the invented American town of Smallville, located in the state of Kansas, but the shooting mostly took place in Canada. The creators of the picture invited the young handsome and promising actor Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum to the role of Superman, who brilliantly played the role of the main villain Lex Luthor.
Smallville Secrets is the longest comic book-based science fiction series in television history.
The first episode (and trailer) of Smallville’s Secrets was presented to the public in 2001. Then it was watched by approximately 8.4 million people. By 2006, Americans were shown five seasons from 110 episodes. To date, ten seasons of the series have been shot, the last of which was broadcast in 2011. On this, its creators planned to complete the victorious procession of Clark Kent on TV screens, however, the popularity of the series, numerous reviews and online audience voting did their job - the eleventh season will be removed: twenty-four new episodes will be shown this fall.
