The sixteen-serial series "Podilsky cadets", the action of which covers the period of the Great Patriotic War, the film company "Pyramid" began to shoot in 2013. Its plot is based on real events that occurred in October 1941, when the combined detachments of Podolsk cadets defended the approaches to the capital of Russia from the Germans.

Plot description
The series begins with the last peaceful days of 1941, when the main character of the story, Alexander Voronov, a pupil of a boarding school, arrives at an artillery school near Moscow for training. There, Sasha meets her new friends - Gena, Nadia and Kolya, who still do not suspect that together with Voronov they will reveal a secret agent recruited by the Germans. Suddenly, a war begins with Germany, and the guys carefully study the wisdom of military affairs 12 hours a day, which does not stop them from falling in love, quarreling, and fleeing from the school into an autopsy.
The infantry and artillery schools in Podolsk, created in 1939-1940, were fired by more than 3, 000 cadets before the war.
In the fall of 1941, the German armies were getting closer and closer to Moscow. Artillery school cadets are sent to defend the capital of their homeland - now all hope is only on them. It is these yesterday’s students who must at all costs deter the fascist offensive against the city until reinforcements in the person of the Soviet army arrive. Now Alexander and his friends, along with other cadets, have to accomplish a feat and go down in history.
