Vladimir Rostislavovich Medinsky1, since 2012, is the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation. In addition, he is a member of the United Russia party. Children and student years of Medinsky
Vladimir was born into an ordinary Ukrainian family. His father was a career officer, his mother worked as a general practitioner. Due to the sphere of activity of the father, the family constantly moved, but in the 80s their nomadic way of life stopped. The family settled in Moscow. Medinsky, having received a certificate, decided to follow in the footsteps of his father and submitted documents to MVVKU. Having been refused by the medical commission, he entered MGIMO at the faculty of international journalism.
Vladimir Rostislavovich was a gifted student. All his attention was completely absorbed in history. He was often seen at open lectures at Moscow State University at the Faculty of History. Career
Vladimir began his political path immediately after graduating from MGIMO in 1992. He, together with his classmates, opened the advertising agency Corporation Y. The company has become one of the largest advertising agencies in the service market in a few years. In 1996, young people experienced some financial difficulties that forced its owners to slightly change the organizational structure.
In 1998, Vladimir Medinsky was nominated as vice president of the Russian Association for Public Relations (RASO). In the same year he was accepted into the civil service, acting as an adviser on the image of the director of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation. A year later, Vladimir left the civil service and began working with regional publishing houses at the election headquarters of the Fatherland-All Russia bloc.
In December 2003, Vladimir Rostislavovich was elected to the State Duma and registered with the United Russia party. From that moment, the young man became one of the most gifted supporters of Vladimir Putin.
Political Merits of Medinsky
Medinsky proposed a number of bills that were subsequently approved. It was he who initiated the restriction of the promotion of medical, tobacco and alcohol products through television and the media.
In 2012, Dmitry Medvedev nominated Vladimir Rostislavovich to the post of Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation. While in this position, Medinsky renamed several Moscow streets, replacing the names with the names of the royal individuals.
