Marlene Jobert (full name Marlene Jeanne Jobert) is a French theater and film actress. Her creative career began in 1963 on the stage. A few years later, Jobert made his debut in a big movie. She played one of the main roles in the film "Male-Female" of the famous director Jean-Luc Godard.

The future theater and film star was born in the autumn of 1940 in Algeria. Then Algeria was not yet an independent state and belonged to France.
The Jobert family was not related to art, but Marlene from childhood showed acting abilities and was interested in creativity. In school years, the girl began to dream of a career as an actress. She attended a theater studio and took part in various competitions, productions and concerts.
After receiving primary education, the girl entered the art school, and then continued to study theater and acting in a drama studio. After moving to Paris, Jobert entered the Conservatory of Dramatic Art.
The young actress began to be noticed by filmmakers as a student, but they were in no hurry to invite to the shootings. After all, the girl had absolutely no experience working on stage and in front of the camera.
