At the end of the season, Berg agreed on a contract with the football club “Groningen” and moved to Holland. For two seasons in the Netherlands, a talented footballer showed very good performance (in 69 meetings he scored 44 goals), but could not win trophies. In 2009, another move took place, this time to Germany. The contract with the German Hamburg was designed for four years.
