Andy MacDowell (full name - Rosalie Anderson MacDowell) was born April 21, 1958 in the town of Gaffney, which is located in South Carolina. The blood of Scots, Irish and French flows in her veins. Andy's father worked as an engineer, his mother gave music lessons. The girl had an older sister, Beverly, and a younger brother, Willard. Parents divorced when Andy was only six.
