Lyudmila Narusova entered modern Russian history as a senator with many years of experience, a well-known public figure and wife of Anatoly Sobchak, the first mayor of the city on the Neva.
Childhood and youth
Lyudmila Narusova was born in 1951. The meeting of her parents took place at the very end of the war in Germany. Father headed the platoon of the military commandant’s guard, his mother worked as a translator. Their romance ended with a wedding, then the young settled with relatives in Bryansk. Boris Moiseevich received a defectological education and headed the school for the deaf, Valentina Vladimirovna took up the duties of director of the cinema.
Having received secondary education, Luda began working in the evening school, which was led by her father. Two years later, the girl became a student in the history department of Leningrad University. The result of postgraduate studies was the defense of the dissertation. In 1978, a graduate began to teach students, first at Alma Mater, then at the University of Culture and Arts.
Social work
The period of active social activity of Narusova began after she became the wife of Anatoly Sobchak. Wanting to support her husband, she supported all his undertakings. As part of the charitable foundation, her main work was the opening of hospices. Together with the Mariinsky Foundation, Lyudmila dealt with the issue of transferring the stop of the executed family of the last Russian Tsar.
Politics
In 1995, in the biography of Narusova, a period began where she showed herself to be a competent politician. From the party "Our Home - Russia" she was elected to the State Duma, the deputy dealt with the problems of family and youth. Four years later, she gave way to another candidate.
In 2000, after the death of her husband, Narusova was invited to work as a consultant to the political council of the Northern capital and an adviser to the administration of the head of state, and also proposed to head the public fund of the former mayor of the city of Sobchak. The next year turned out to be saturated. Lyudmila Borisovna represented the parliament of Tuva in the Federal Assembly of the country, then in the Duma Committee she dealt with issues of education, science, culture and health. After the election of Narusova to the Commission on Information Policy, her duties were supplemented by the tasks of developing legislation on issues of the media market and the Internet.
Since 2016, the politician has confirmed her membership in parliament from the executive branch of the Republic of Tuva.
Work on television
Lyudmila Borisovna has considerable experience in television work. In 2000, viewers of St. Petersburg television watched with interest the development of events in the program "Freedom of Speech", which was led by Narusova. She continued her career as a TV presenter on metropolitan television in the talk show "Price of Success". On NTV, she was offered a place in the program "Rest Room".
Personal life
Married Narusova was twice. Her first husband was a psychiatrist, the marriage was registered as a student. But family life did not work out and soon the young parted. The central event of the divorce proceedings was the sharing of a cooperative apartment. At this moment, Lyudmila got acquainted with Anatoly Sobchak, who advised her. At first, the young, bright girl did not pay attention to a lawyer who was 15 years older than her and had an unsuccessful family experience. An erudite beauty won the man’s heart at first sight.
In 1980, Narusova and Sobchak got married, their couple for a long time remained an example of a happy union, filled with love and harmony. A year later they became happy parents - the daughter Ksenia was born. Today, the girl is not only a socialite and TV presenter, but also a participant in the presidential race. She believes that she continues the work of the famous father, Lyudmila Borisovna supports her daughter in everything. Recently, Narusova became a grandmother, in the family of Ksenia and Maxim Vitorgan, the son of an eminent actor, the first-born Plato was born.
