Biography
Lyubov Polishchuk was born in Omsk in 1949, brought up in a simple family of workers. Since childhood, the future actress attended music school, studied dance and vocals. Her initial dream was to become a singer, so after school, Love entered one of the Moscow pop schools. After graduating in 1967, Polishchuk returned to Omsk and began working in the Philharmonic. By that time, she was already married to Valery Makarov, with whom she performed on stage together.
Lyubov Polishchuk got to the theater thanks to Marian Belenky, who wrote scripts for her performances. It was he who invited her to play on the stage of the Moscow Music Hall. As a result, Love entered the current troupe of the music hall, with which she toured for more than a year. In 1974, Polishchuk made her debut in the world of cinema, appearing in the film "Starling and Lyra." After several episodic roles, she was awaited by successful filming in the film "12 Chairs" together with Andrei Mironov.
And yet Lyubov Polishchuk did not become a popular film actress, continuing to play mainly in theatrical productions. Only in the 80s she decided to undergo training at GITIS, which opened the way for her to major film projects. Popular recognition did not take long: in 1989, the actress was remembered by everyone for the sensational film "Intergirl". After that there were such projects as “Love with privileges”, “He is still Munchausen”, “Wild Wind” and others.
For a significant contribution to the development of art in 1994, Lyubov Polishchuk received the prestigious title of People's Artist of the Country. Unfortunately, she did not manage to declare herself fully in the 2000s: the actress was remembered only for her role in the popular series "My Fair Nanny." To this moment the last years of her life were already on.
