A native of Minsk and a native of a family of medical workers, Igor Lagutin, went against the wishes of his parents, who saw him as a successor to the family dynasty, and devoted his life to acting. And, as can be clearly seen today from the results, this choice has become completely justified, because today it is truly included in the galaxy of domestic stars of theater and cinema.
Biography and career of Igor Vasilievich Lagutin
On August 5, 1964, the future idol of millions of fans was born in the capital of Belarus. From childhood, Igor showed acting abilities, actively participating in amateur performances. And the request of parents to follow in their footsteps or, at worst, to become a lawyer, having entered a local university, was regarded in his own way. The gifted young man “successfully” failed his exams in Minsk and left to conquer Moscow in the field of the actor.
It was the legendary Schukin School from other theatrical theater universities that attracted the attention of the future artist most of all, where in the course with Yu.A. Stromov, he began to diligently master his profession. As a student, Igor Lagutin made his debut on the stage. The first work in this field was the character of Ametistov in the play "Zoykina Apartment".
In 1989, the aspiring actor graduated from "Pike" and began his professional career from the stage of the Moscow Drama Theater. Simonova. Here he went on stage for six months, and then for nine years delighted his fans on the stage of the Theater. Vakhtangov. In the dashing “nineties, ” like the entire cast of brothers in our country, he had to change his occupation to business in order to survive. However, the inner world of a professional actor could not accept anything other than acting, and therefore it was only a matter of time for his return to the stage. It was the Satire Theater on Triumfalnaya Square in Moscow that became his second home to this day.
Lagutin’s cinematic debut took place in 1988, when he first got into the frame in the film play “Zoykin’s apartment”. And only in the "nineties" he began to fully participate in film projects as an actor. Before the break associated with leaving the profession, Igor was noted for his film works in the films “In the Beginning Was the Word” (1992) and “Summer People” (1995).
With the film project "Love to the grave", which was released in the 2000s, a new stage begins in the creative career of a Russian artist. It is from the “zero” that Igor Lagutin rises to the Olympus of national glory. His filmography begins to rapidly replenish with successful film works in which he, as a rule, acts as a strong-willed and courageous soldier or law enforcement officer.
However, active participation in the filming of films and TV shows does not affect the activity of his participation in the theatrical life of the country. The performance “Symphony of Love”, where he appeared on the court of spectators together with Ilza Liepa and the soloists of the ballet from the Bolshoi Theater and the Russian Seasons troupe, belongs to the last work on his native stage in 2018.
