Timur Askarovich Kulibayev is one of the leading businessmen and public figures.
The future manager was born on September 10, 1966 in the family of a major leader. Parents lived in Alma-Ata. My father worked in the Council of Ministers of the KSSR. Mother taught biology in high school. A child from an early age demonstrated natural abilities. With equal ease, he began to speak Kazakh and Russian. When Timur was seven years old, he was enrolled in a physics and mathematics school. Professional activity

With the beginning of the transition of the country's economy to the market principles of functioning, the young specialist had to expand his sphere of competence. He was closely engaged in the formation of the oil and gas complex. Timur had to solve organizational issues and prevent the formation of corrupt communities. In 1999, he defended his thesis on the topic "Optimization of the enterprise management mechanism in a market environment."

Kulibayev saw and knew well how the workers of state enterprises live. To control the processes of restructuring and development of the country's economy, he proposed the creation of a special fund, which was called Samruk-Kazyna. A similar structure has successfully operated in Singapore. As chairman of the fund, Kulibayev negotiated with partners in the oil and gas sector.
