The All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization for the Promotion of Sovereign Democracy, the Nashi Youth Movement - this is the name of the youth non-governmental organization that arose in 2004. She was born through the reorganization of the Movement Together movement. Nashi is a pro-Kremlin structure that supports Vladimir Putin, his course and regime.
On February 28, 2005, the first conference of the Moscow representative office of the movement was held in the Senezh recreation center, owned by the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. The leader and creator Vasily Yakemenko proclaimed the official start of the anti-fascist youth movement Nashi. He was followed by several more similar appeals to the press from different cities of Russia.
The organization sees Russia as the historical and geographical center of the world, for the freedom of which it intends to fight. According to representatives of the movement, the country is threatened by an alliance of communists, fascists and liberals who hate Vladimir Putin. "Ours" intend to support in every possible way the oligarchs challenged by Putin, they say. The goals of the movement are as follows: the preservation of the sovereignty and integrity of Russia, the construction of an active civil society, the modernization of the country through a personnel revolution.
In addition to the ongoing campaigns, Nashi has several projects. "Our 2.0." Engaged in moral and patriotic education of youth. The Steel project has the same goals. “Run after me” is developing a sports direction, and “You are an entrepreneur” proclaims itself a youth school of entrepreneurship.
The most famous project is the Seliger forum. The All-Russian Youth Educational Camp is opened annually on the lake of the same name in the Tver Region. During the forum, meetings are held with political figures, government officials, as well as organized leisure activities of the participants in the movement. After two years of operation, Seliger reached a number of participants of ten thousand people.
The name "Nashi" to the participants in the movement was originally given by its opponents by analogy with the Nazis. Ours are annually funded from various sources. The participants themselves call the source of their income deductions from Russian businessmen who are ready to support the views of the movement financially. In 2012, the leadership of the movement increasingly speaks of another reorganization and disbandment of Nashi.
