In the bowels of the earth there is a huge number of treasures and hiding places that have long attracted hunters for adventure and easy profit. The weapons and uniforms of soldiers of the Second World War, the caches of Stepan Razin - all these and many other artifacts gave rise to the emergence of the so-called "illegal archaeologists", or "black diggers".
Instruction manual
1
Today, unauthorized searches of treasures not only cause outrage from the representative of the "white" science and the public, but are also prohibited by law, some acts even fall under the articles of the Criminal Code. After all, black diggers, as a rule, do not stop at any obstacles in order to achieve their goal: they destroy monuments, ruin collections for years, scattering them subsequently in parts to countries near and far abroad.
2
Among black diggers, those who are engaged in excavations without a license, there are real fans of their craft, overwhelmed by a thirst for new discoveries, but thugs come across, they are usually divided into several podcasts: these include black archaeologists, treasure hunters and ordinary trophies.
3
It is customary to classify the most “dangerous” individuals as the first group, they seek to find the most valuable finds, penetrate prohibited territories, bribe authorized persons and representatives of local authorities, and often possess really serious historical knowledge. As a rule, such organizations have a whole staff of highly savvy scientific employees, because in order to find a serious treasure, you need to know where and what to look for.
4
Treasure hunters-groups focused on the search for valuable treasures and coins, which in the future will be profitably realized. This is the most numerous category, often driven by purely romantic impulses and the spirit of adventurism. As a rule, they are arrogant and fearless, they are not afraid of dilapidated buildings, wild animals, robbers and aggression of the local population.
5
Trophies, or “black trackers”, are people who spend most of their time doing analytical work, because their goal is trophies of the Second World War and the study of the area on which fights and battles took place at one time or another. A few decades ago, trophy men had a very legal status and included not only employees of historical clubs, but also volunteers and schoolchildren who help to find the remains of soldiers and remove fragments of shells and old mines. Today, these are illegal squads scouring the forests for weapons and rewards and sending their finds to black markets. Among them there are grave diggers who do not disdain the personal belongings of German soldiers and officers.
6
As a rule, any of the above categories of black diggers permanently deprives the scientific community of the opportunity to explore a particular territory, because they not only rob graves, but also damage layers of the earth that are necessary for the restoration of certain historical events.
7
Today, the law provides for serious sanctions against such illegal activities. The sale of special gear and equipment is under the vigilant control of the authorities. The capture at the "crime scene" provides for a prison term.
