On November 6, the presidential election will be held in America. But now, two official candidates for this position have begun the struggle for the votes. As always, one of them represents the interests of the democratic party, the other - the republican.

The presidential candidate for the United States from the Democratic Party was the current president, Barack Obama. And at the convention, Bill Clinton himself proposed his candidacy. According to the staff of the president’s headquarters, his support can provide Obama with an additional number of votes among white workers who are still distrustful of the current president.
The election program of Barack Obama includes increasing the number of jobs through the restoration of schools, bridges, runways and roads, reducing oil imports and increasing US exports. The current president also promises to reduce US foreign debt by $ 4 trillion.
Obama's opponent is former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. As expected, he scored the majority of votes at the congress and was officially approved by the Republican Party presidential candidate. The new Republican program provides for tax cuts, economic stimulus, and the abandonment of health care reform that Obama has begun. Romney also talks about banning abortions in the country and tightening control over America’s financial sector.
In his election program, Romney exposes Russia as the number one geopolitical enemy. And he promises to “curb” it after coming to power, which for our country threatens to freeze the negotiation processes on a number of important issues, which are thus being held with great difficulty.
The first polls showed that so far no candidate has a significant margin of votes. However, there are still more electors from the current US President Barack Obama - 221 against 191 from Romney. Another 126 represent the states where the ratings are equal - and there will be an election campaign between Romney and Obama in the coming months.
