Largely thanks to such heroic people as Alexander Anatolyevich Kosmodemyansky and his sister Zoya Anatolyevna Kosmodemyanskaya, the Nazis were not able to carry out their plans for the establishment of world domination, the destruction of the Jewish population, the enslavement of Slavic and other peoples.
Biography
Alexander Kosmodemyansky was born in July 1925. Like his sister Zoya, he was born in the countryside, which now belongs to the Tambov region. Alexander and Zoe had mom and dad - Olga and Anatoly.
Then the family was forced to move to Siberia. So decided husband and wife - Olga and Anatoly. According to the testimony of Aunt Alexander Anatolyevich - Lyubov Kosmodemyanskaya, this happened due to the fact that the head of the family - Anatoly Kosmodemyansky, at one time opposed collectivization. Later in some publications they wrote that the family was exiled to Siberia, but Aunt Alexandra - Love, claimed that the family was afraid of denunciation.
Most likely, the latest version is correct. If the Cosmodemyans were exiled to Siberia, then not for such a short time.
After all, in 1930 they already moved to Moscow. In due time, Alexander went to school here, received a good education in those days, graduating from 10 classes. When the boy was 8 years old, his father was gone. The man died during the operation.
So Olga Kosmodemyanskaya was left alone with the children in her arms. But the guys did their best to help their mother.
Volunteer
Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya made her legendary feat at the end of November 1941. Upon learning of how his sister died, Alexander submitted a request to be sent to the front. The young man was not yet 17 years old. His request was granted.
So Alexander Anatolyevich Kosmodemyansky got into the army. At first he studied at the tank school in Ulyanovsk. Here the young man was promoted to junior lieutenant.
By that time, Zoe’s feat was widely known, so her brother was entrusted with the command of the KV heavy tank. On it, the young man completed several feats of arms. On this heavy installation, Alexander made the inscription "behind Zoya." He firmly decided to avenge the death of his sister.
By the way, many Soviet soldiers made such inscriptions on their tanks, as the girl’s feat inspired them to other heroic acts.
