Go to the Guinness Book of Records
Canadian musician Jason Beck, better known by the name of Gonzalez, is famous for being in the Guinness Book of Records as the person who performed the longest concert in the world.
In May 2009, at the Cine 13 in Paris, the musician sat at the piano at midnight Sunday, and finished only at three in the morning on Monday. Thus, the duration of the concert was 27 hours 3 minutes and 44 seconds. The previous record was 26 hours and 12 minutes - the Indian Parsanne Goody played so much.
According to the rules of the Guinness Book of Records, the performer was supposed to play the works, taking a break between each not more than thirty seconds. Every three hours, the Canadian was paused for fifteen minutes. This amazing man managed not only to rest, but also to change his stage costume several times, and even managed to shave once.
Gonzalez entertained the audience with both classics (Ode to Joy by Beethoven) and contemporary hits (Britney Spears Hit me baby one more time). In total, Jason Beck played more than three hundred pieces. None of them were repeated.
Correctly believing that the audience could not stand such a long performance as a whole, the concert organizers found a way out. They divided the performance of the musician into several parts, comprising 2 or 3 hours. You could buy a separate ticket for any of them. Gonzales ardent fans for 105 euros could enjoy the concert in full.
