Filling out the 3NDFL declaration for a tax deduction differs from the usual procedure in that you, among others, must fill out a section specially designed for it, which in other cases is left blank. The easiest way to generate this document is to use the free Declaration program.
You will need
- - a computer;
- - Internet access;
- - The latest version of the program "Declaration";
- - documents confirming income, tax paid on it and the right to deduction, if it is provided on the basis of expenses incurred.

Download the latest version of the Declaration program on the website of the Main Research Center of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. Install it on your computer and run it. If you already have this program, check it for a newer version, update or replace if necessary.

All sections of the declaration are filled, as usual, on the basis of your personal data and documents confirming income and tax paid from it (2NDFL certificates from tax agents, etc.). All the necessary information is in them. If you do not know the TIN of the individual from whom you received the income, contact him and take this information (or rather, ask him to indicate his TIN immediately upon conclusion of the contract).

To fill out the deduction section, click on the appropriate tab. You will see the tabs (in the upper right corner) corresponding to all varieties of deduction. Choose each one you pretend to, then the exact variety that relies on your situation. Enter the requested data. For example, the number and age of children, if you apply for a standard deduction for a child, or the amount of royalties or other remuneration when filling out the section on professional, bought or sold housing with property, in case of purchase - how much was in your property, if necessary - the transaction price etc. You can save the finished declaration to your computer.
