Instruction manual
1
Make a first impression of the features of the trial. Those who participate in the court session are usually called parties. Distinguish between the defendant, plaintiff, witnesses in the case, third parties and so on. Depending on the category of case to be considered, the process may be civil or criminal. All parties to the process have specific duties and rights, but there are universal rules of conduct that must be observed by all participants in the court session, regardless of their status in a particular case.
2
Treat the court and its officials with respect and reverence, but without fear. It is often necessary to observe citizens who cautiously enter the courthouse, believing that here they cannot expect anything good. But any court is just a state institution that is called upon to make fair decisions in criminal and civil cases, taking into account the requirements of the law.
3
Thoroughly prepare for the court session. You need to know exactly what purpose and in what capacity you are in court before the process begins. Determine for yourself what explanations you will give in court, what you will talk about. It is recommended that before the meeting to study the written documents related to the case under consideration.
4
Be punctual. Arrive at the hearing on time. The subpoena always contains an accurate indication of the time and place where the hearing is held. If you are late for a meeting, then you make it clear that you are not too respectful of the court. If you are late or fail to show up for a good reason, provide the judge, through his assistant, with documentary evidence that the reason is significant.
5
Strictly observe ethical standards at the hearing. The process of conducting hearings in the case is clearly regulated. You must not get up and out of the hall when you want it. It should be excluded from the behavior of cries from the place, quarrels with the other side of the case. These and other manifestations of contempt of court entail liability prescribed by law, up to a fine or removal from the courtroom.
6
When answering questions at the hearing, be correct and restrained. Try not to get away from the subject. This prevents the judge from understanding the specifics of the situation and delays the trial. Be truthful, pass on to the court only the facts, separating them from your or others' opinions. If you are a witness in a case, always remember that it is your responsibility to give false evidence in court.
