Passport is the most important document of a citizen of the Russian Federation. For the first time, a person receives it at the age of 14 and then saves his whole life. The passport contains confidential information about its owner. A person periodically must provide this data to various organizations when filling out certain documents. For those who have recently received a passport, it can be difficult to figure out first what to enter and what is called.

Instruction manual
1
So, having just received a passport and opening it on the first page, you will see the coat of arms of Russia and the inscription "passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation". You will not need any data from this page when filling out documents, so go to the next one.
2
At the top of the page you will see ten. They are divided in a certain way: 2x2x6. The first four digits are the series of your passport. The other six are his number. Those. when filling out the documents you will have to write this:
Series: 12 34 (write your own series)
Number: 123456 (write your number).
The series and number will also be indicated on the remaining pages of the document, but they will now be located not at the top, but at the bottom of the sheet.
3
Now flip the passport so that you can read everything that is written on the page. Here is information about who issued your passport and when. Here you will find out that it was issued by the Department of the Federal Migration Service in your area in your city. The date of issue is also indicated: day, month and year. Sometimes when filling out documents, in addition to these data, it is also necessary to indicate the code of the unit that issued you the passport. This code consists of six digits separated by a hyphen.
4
Now lower your gaze below to the next page. Here is your photo and information about you. Your surname, name, patronymic, gender, date and place of birth. You must know this data by heart.
5
Page 5 contains information about your residence permit. On page 13, men have a note on the performance of their military duty. Scroll to the next page and get information about your marital status (if you have something to write, of course). And if you changed your passport (due to a change of surname or when you reach the age of 20 or 45 years), then on page 19 you can find information about the previous passport (its series, number, unit code and date of issue).
note
That's all the passport information that you might find useful. Take care of this important document and remember - it is not worth it to provide someone with your passport data without any special need.
