"Umra" is translated from Arabic as a visit, trip, visit. It is a small pilgrimage to Mecca or, in other words, a "small hajj". The performance of Umrah is not obligatory as the performance of the main Hajj. However, it is advisable to commit it at least once in a lifetime if the financial situation and health allow.

This worship ritual consists of donning ihram, performing tawaf, running between the hills of Safa and Marva, and cutting hair. According to Abu Hanifah’s madhab, putting on ihram and performing tawaf is a fard, and ritual running between Safa and Marwa and cutting hair is a wajib.
After putting on the ihram, the one who performs the umrah pronounces the intention: "O Allah, truly I want to make the die, ease and accept it from me." This is done in the mikat, which is the boundary of the sacred land, which cannot be reached without entering the state of ihram. Ihram is a special state of spiritual purity and observance of special rules. Then, after pronouncing talbia, the pilgrims go to Mecca. They make tawaf (a ritual tour around the Kaaba), run between the hills of Safa and Marva and cut their hair. After performing all these rituals, the death ends. During the performance of the umra, the same actions are prohibited that are prohibited during the performance of the obligatory Hajj.
There is no strictly defined time for this pilgrimage. I die at any time of the year except for the five days of the Zul-Hij month, from the ninth to the end of the Tashrik days. Performing Umrah at this time is makruh, but it can be performed along with the Hajj.
