early years
The boy was born in France in the spring of 1973. The upbringing of David and his older brother was mainly dealt with by his grandfather, who worked almost all his life in the fire department of Paris. Father, having served in the army, also chose the profession of firefighter and rescuer, and then David's older brother followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and father.
As a child, David often heard stories about the heroism and courage of rescuers, about the difficulty of their work and physical endurance. The boy owes a hobby for sports, first of all, to the male half of his family. It was the grandfather and father who instilled in David a love of movement and active life.
From an early age, the boy began to engage in many sports. These were: gymnastics, running, jumping, martial arts, rock climbing. David could not imagine further life without sports. He literally became obsessed with the idea of the need to constantly improve his achievements, to free himself from any fears and limitations.
At fifteen, David decides to stop studying at school and devote himself to a sports career. He moves from Paris to Liss. And soon there he finds his like-minded people, with whom he creates a team called the Yamakashi.
In the same period, Belle receives a lifeguard certificate and learns the basics of first aid. After several years of joint training with the Yamakashi team, David returns to Paris and begins working in the fire department. Perhaps he could associate his further fate with the profession of a rescuer, but due to the injury he was removed from work, and later did not return to the unit.
After Belle recovered from his injury, he was about to begin serving in the Marine Corps. At this point, he had already mastered many sports disciplines, was a champion in rope climbing and overcoming an obstacle course. But the army service could limit the youth in freedom, without which he could not imagine his life. Therefore, he chose sports and was going to demonstrate his achievements to the world.
