You bought a gym membership, but don’t know how to behave there? There are general rules of conduct that include both safety and ethical considerations aimed at creating a friendly atmosphere.
Instruction manual
1
Get the right clothes: cotton t-shirts, shorts or pants. Pay special attention to shoes. Do not wear socks or open sandals, as there is a high risk of injury. Sneakers are not athletic, but walking shoes, so it’s best to wear sneakers for training. Leave bags and mobile phones outside the gym door. The former will take up a lot of space, the latter will annoy and distract from classes. Be sure to bring a towel with you and take care of personal hygiene.
2
Do not distract those who are currently engaged in projectiles or are performing an approach. By asking questions or laughing at them, you not only prevent them from concentrating, but also risk provoking a conflict. Do not give advice if you are not asked about this and if you are not a coach. Is there a mirror in the gym? Try not to obstruct other people training with you.
3
During exercise, free space is extremely important. In addition to the psychological aspect, small boundaries do not allow for a full training session and can even cause injuries. Therefore, try to keep a distance of 1 meter with those who work on shells and weight training equipment, as well as while running, etc. Do not take shells for long - respect others.
4
Be polite. If the projectile or simulator on which you want to work out is busy, ask how many approaches it will be released (but only when the person finishes the set). Do not refuse help if you are asked to insure. Firstly, this means that at the right time they will help you, and secondly, it brings together even strangers. In the gym, as in other public places, obscene language is prohibited.
note
To avoid personal injury, do not sit down on the simulator unless you know how to operate it.
Helpful advice
After the training is finished, put rope, balls, etc. in place of the rope, remove pancakes from the bar.
