After the nomination and registration of candidates, the election campaign usually starts. Without active election campaigning, it is already impossible to imagine a single election at any level. However, this process is regulated by a rather strict framework of the law.

Familiarize yourself with the laws and regulations governing the course of the election campaign. Pay special attention to the sections in which the order of campaigning in the media is regulated, since the outcome of the elections largely depends on how well the campaign will be organized in the press, on TV and on the Internet.

Find out, if possible, what your rivals are planning to do as part of the election race. This is necessary at least in order to be able to protect themselves if they, bypassing all laws, take some kind of moves against you.

Do not forget that you can only use the funds from the election fund to finance the election campaign, so as soon as you (or your party or public association) are registered as a candidate, make an estimate of the costs. In addition to advertising in the media and the Internet, it can be meetings with voters, round tables, debates and conferences, events in support of a candidate or party, outdoor advertising, gift sets with your symbols, etc.

Conclude an agreement with the advertising agency for the campaign. Present to its employees all the necessary materials (election program, biographies of candidates, photo, video and audio materials). Consider all the proposals for the campaign, approve the final plan for its implementation.

Contact the election commission and provide it with all the layouts for future posters, booklets, articles, scripts for commercials, banners, etc. for approval. If the commission has any comments, review a number of decisions made and contact again.

Be well prepared to participate in the debate, since often the outcome of the election race depends on how you can oppose.

On the day before the election (on the so-called "day of silence"), personally monitor that there are no media reports about you and your party. Outdoor advertising may remain untouched if it was placed during the campaign.
