Almost any news broadcast on television ends with a weather forecast. However, few people know that even this short on air time report has certain rules for conducting.
Instruction manual
1
On most television channels, the same TV presenter conducts the weather forecast, despite the time of the broadcast's release. It’s good if the weather report is on the record. Can you imagine how hard it is for him if the morning program involves a live broadcast with a daily weather forecast for the coming day? Therefore, if you were entrusted with its conduct, the most important thing is not to be late, because there may be no one to replace you - you simply suspend the channel’s leadership and upset the audience. If the weather forecast comes out at 6 in the morning, don’t be too lazy to come to the studio by 5, because before the broadcast stylists and make-up artists should still “conjure” you.
2
If you don’t have time to change clothes or you were asked to pick up something from your own wardrobe, remember - the classic style is much better than trendy clothes “for one season”. Noticed what TV presenters usually appear on the screen? The clothes are just a cut of light, soft tones. This is true, because the viewer should not concentrate on the clothes of the host. Makeup and hairstyle also should not be artsy. There is no need for extravagance here - you just talk about the weather that awaits your hometown today.
3
Pre-practice in reading and pronouncing large volumes of text in a short amount of time. You don’t have to memorize the whole text today - the presenters are helped by special teleprompter screens, looking at which you can read the text of the weather forecast. However, if you have confused speech or you “swallow” endings in words, the prompter will not help. Try not to worry during the broadcast. So you will not stutter. In the evening before speaking on TV, read aloud several pages from your favorite book - with expression, slowly and paying attention to the tone of your voice. Watch for diction - speech should be clear and intelligible.
