"Invasion" is an annual festival of Russian rock music, held since 1999. The most famous and beloved performers of heavy music perform on its stage, hundreds of thousands of people are going to listen to them.
In 2012, the festival "Invasion" was held in the Tver region from July 6 to 8 and pleased the fans with both traditional high-quality performance of rock music and new events in the program. The headliners of the first two days of the festival were the DDT groups Chayf. In addition to them, regular guests such as Alice, Pilot, King and the Fool, Lapis Trubetskoy, Kipelov, Bravo and others spoke. A novelty of the Invasion was the performance of Boris Grebenshchikov and his group "Aquarium" - he became a participant in this event for the first time.
According to the rules of the 13th festival, each performer played one of the songs of the legendary Viktor Tsoi, thereby marking his possible 50th anniversary. And the Bravo group congratulated their former soloist Zhanna Aguzarova on the golden anniversary. The duration of each performance was about 45 minutes, during which they performed their favorite hits for the audience.
A striking and long-awaited event of this rock festival was the performance of Zemfira, who ascended to the "Invasion" stage for the first time in 10 years. Especially spectacular was her appearance on stage - the singer was delivered there by helicopter. I was surprised by the image of the singer, which has changed in recent years, as well as her repertoire. For an hour and a half, Zemfira performed her famous songs "Sky, Sea, Clouds", "Cigarettes", "Want" and many others. And also new songs - "Money" and "No Chances". According to her, the song "Daisies", sung by her encore, was performed for the last time, and she completed her performance with the song "Arividerchi".
The festival "Invasion" for three days was attended by more than 150 thousand people. In addition to concerts for the entertainment of guests, many different events were invented - from an ice rink to a balloon flight. And at the end of the festival, all those present were pleased with a beautiful salute.
