Instruction manual
1
If a person comes simply on a visit or on a business trip, then when filling out the migration card, he must indicate the address at which he will live. If he has stayed with you, you will have to apply to the Federal Migration Service and temporarily register a foreigner in your living space for a period of not more than 90 days within 3 business days from the moment of his arrival. In this case, the consent of all homeowners is not required and the house management does not need to be notified. You only have to pay a fee of 180 rubles. Documents can even be sent by mail, so as not to waste time in the queues. After the departure of a foreign citizen, you must notify the migration service no later than three days later.
2
If the foreigner has received a residence permit valid for three years, he will need to obtain temporary registration at the place of residence. If your apartment is privatized, then come to the local department of the FMS together with the foreigner and write a statement. In this case, you need to bring along your passport and a passport of a foreign citizen, as well as a document confirming that you are the owner of this housing. In the event that the apartment is registered in shared ownership, the remaining owners must give notarized consent to the registration of the newcomer. If you live in an apartment under a social contract of employment, you will need to bring with you the certified consent of all citizens registered in this apartment.
3
If a person from another state arrives at a permanent place of residence, apply for him permanent registration in your premises. Contact the migration service with a statement, and you will have to indicate the reasons that prompted you to register a foreigner, for example, marriage, an agreement on work or study, other cases. All this information must be confirmed by relevant documents.
