This may seem strange to someone, but in the USA they also celebrate Victory Day. Of course, the Americans made a small contribution to the victory of the USSR over Nazi Germany, but officially there is no such holiday in the United States.

Victory Day in the USA is celebrated by Russians. In each major city of this country, several thousand of our compatriots live. Many of them fought grandfathers and fathers, among whom there are a large number of heroes of Russia.
The parade takes place in the form of a procession. There is no special organization. People put in subgroups information about the collection at a certain time, in a certain place. They are usually collected in the morning. At 10.00 local time, the convoy starts moving along a pre-planned route.
Participants in the procession carry flags, banners, photographs of their relatives who took part in the Great Patriotic War. The column sings patriotic songs. Those who have the opportunity, wear a soldier uniform during the Second World War.
At the same time, no one drinks alcoholic beverages, does not bully. The column moves exclusively on the sidewalks and does not interfere with the movement of cars. The procession is attended not only by adults, but also by children.
The procession lasts about two hours, after which the celebration continues at home or in a cafe. This event does not interfere with citizens and does not complicate the work of the authorities.
It is pleasant to realize that even over the ocean our people do not forget about the great victory.
