Instruction manual
1
Find the latest newsletter sent to you by the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (PF RF). These letters are sent annually to all citizens who have already begun their seniority, but have not yet retired. You should receive a notice from your post office at the place of residence, where you must pick up your letters.
2
If letters from the PF do not come to you, contact the department of the foundation at the place of residence. Their list can be found on the official website of the fund. Come to the office during business hours. Present to the employee your passport and pension insurance certificate and inform that you would like to receive letters with notification of the status of your pension account. After that, from next year you will begin to receive such information letters to the address that you indicate as a place of residence.
3
Having received the letter, you should be able to read it correctly. It contains several important numbers. First, check whether all your details are indicated correctly in the notification letter. At the top of the letter should be your last name, first name and patronymic, as well as the number of your personal account on which the pension is accumulated. This number must match the number on your pension insurance certificate.
4
Find the deductions for the past year from the letter. They are divided into two parts - the funded and insurance part of the pension. The first part of the contributions is indicated in paragraph 3 of the notice (in the second - if you are an individual entrepreneur), and the second - at the end of the letter, in paragraph 15. Having folded them, you will receive your general insurance pension contributions for the past year.
5
You can find out your pension contributions for previous years from point 4 (the funded part of the pension), which is called "The total amount of pension contributions transferred to the management of the management company", and from paragraph 16 (the insurance part of the pension). If you add the data in paragraphs 4, 15 and 16, you will receive the total amount of pension contributions made by you for all years of work. The larger they are, the higher your future pension will be.
