The international exhibition EXPO-2012 is held in the South Korean city of Yosu. Its theme is “Living Ocean and Coast, ” and it is devoted to the urgent problem of preserving the living ecosystem of the World Ocean. The participating countries presented their developments that can help solve this problem. You will need
- - passport, before the expiration of which is not less than 6 months;
- - A copy of the first page of the passport with personal data;
- - A copy of the old passport, if it has visas of Australia, Canada, the USA, the Schengen zone or Japan;
- - visa application form in English or Korean;
- - color photo 3.5x4.5 cm;
- - original invitation;
- - a certificate on letterhead from the place of work, indicating the length of service, position and salary, certified by the head and seal;
- - A certificate from the educational institution for students and schoolchildren;
- - A copy of the pension certificate for pensioners;
- - for unemployed women, a copy of the marriage certificate and either a letter from the husband about the financing of the trip, or a bank statement, or a copy of the certificate of ownership of real estate or a vehicle.

Citizens of the Russian Federation and the CIS require a visa to enter South Korea. You can apply for it at the following addresses:

If you are applying for a tourist visa, you will need the original hotel invitation. If guest:
- host invitation:
- a copy of the inviter’s identity card;
- certificates of payment of taxes for the year;
- The program of your stay in the country indicating that the responsibility for your actions lies with the host.

If you book a tour for up to 15 days through a travel company, attach an invitation to the agency, a program of stay in the country and confirmation that the responsibility for your actions lies with the travel agency.

Many halls of the EXPO 2012 exhibition are very popular. If you do not take care of entrance tickets in advance, you will have to spend several hours in line at the ticket office, and then to the front door. It may be worth buying tickets online if you have electronic means of payment that can be paid abroad.
