Often when meeting new people, a situation arises when they are asked to briefly tell about themselves. It can occur anywhere and anytime, be it a meeting with new friends or an interview when hiring a new job. Many are embarrassed and do not know what to answer. A short story written in advance can be a good solution.

Instruction manual
1
Describe the interesting events of your life. You should not concentrate much on yourself, but these events should show others how you feel about certain things, your reaction to the actions of other members of society, your key principles of behavior.
2
Be sure to provide personal data. It should be written briefly, not take a lot of time while reading.
3
Tell us about some of your leading qualities. Remember that this part of the story should be the most voluminous and most interesting. Provide information positively, so that your interlocutor can easily understand your general mood. For example: “I like to come up with original solutions”, “I like the classics in everything”, etc. It is important to write about how this helps you in life. Expand the topic in several sentences.
4
Focus on your business experience if you are writing a short story about yourself for the employer. In this case, do not repeat the information specified in the resume and curriculum vitae. Harvest some links in the text. For example, "more about this is indicated in the autobiography", etc. Be sure to work out the written text before the interview or business meeting, memorize it.
5
Do not limit yourself to dry documentary presentation. Your story will turn out to be more interesting and informative if you focus on the experience gained and the ability to find the right solutions in your work. Surely the employer is more important to understand the reasons for your previous dismissals, and not just the list of work performed. He is also interested in your expectations for a new job, commensurate with professional skills.
6
Write about your strengths in the context of professional requirements and interests. You can, for example, write about the family in such a way that your employer will become aware of your interest in job stability, and not in career growth.
7
Read aloud your story about yourself and note the time. It should take no more than 2 minutes. At the end of the story it will be logical to propose asking questions to clarify incomprehensible points.
