Instruction manual
1
Divide the book into parts and translate gradually. Take the first part (let it be only one page of text) and for a start read it from beginning to end to catch the content. While reading, underline with pencil difficult places to translate. After that, break the page into paragraphs and start translating each sentence, linking it to the next.
2
In each sentence, first of all, select the subject and predicate, then proceed to the word-for-word translation. If you meet unfamiliar words, write them out, and then look at the meaning in the dictionary, make sure that the meaning you choose fits the context of the general meaning of the sentence.
3
Having translated all the paragraphs in the selected passage, read it. Make sure that the translation is well read, whether its meaning is clear, and also handle the stylistic errors encountered in the text.
note
In the translated text, you may come up with idioms (stable expressions). Idioms are not translated literally, therefore, their translation must be done using a special English-Russian phraseological dictionary.
