Translating a large fragment of text from a completely unfamiliar language is a complex matter. Nevertheless, you can find a way out of any situation and choose the method that suits you best. So, to translate the book into Russian, you can use one of the options.
Instruction manual
1
Try to find on the Internet or in the library a ready-made literary translation of the work that interests you. If the book has not been published in Russia, contact the specialists at the translation agency. Remember that translation services are paid. If you want to complete the translation yourself, consider a few points.
2
In a foreign language from which you want to translate a book, there may be fewer words than in Russian. This creates certain difficulties, since the same word can be translated in different ways. Focus on the context, understand the meaning of the previous and subsequent sentences, then it will be easier for you to choose the right translation.
3
Remember that a single word in its independent assessment can have one translation, but if you add a preposition (or ending) to this word, its meaning will change. The same applies to sustained speech circulation and phrases. Prepare supporting literature - dictionaries, phrasebooks, reference books. You cannot do without them.
4
It is better to choose such publications where several options for translating foreign words are offered at once and cases of their use are explained. Write down unfamiliar words with translation options and only then combine the words into sentences. When you see the whole picture (translate all the unfamiliar words in the sentence), it will be easier to make the correct translation.
5
You can also try to translate the bulk of the text using the translator application installed on the computer, or online on the corresponding site. Using such programs, remember that in most cases they only give a literal translation, so the meaning of some sentences may be lost. Reread the result and correct it, guided by logic.
