Instruction manual
1
Emigration to Serbia is possible when starting a business in the country (or when working for a Serbian company) or when buying real estate. In addition, moving to Serbia is possible on a study visa.
2
The first option involves the opening of a working or fictitious company. To obtain documents for the company, you must have a ready-made business plan (in Serbian), as well as an extract from the bank about the presence of the authorized capital. The minimum authorized capital is from 500 euros. Then you need to apply for a residence permit (temporary residence permit). To obtain a residence permit, you must have documents on the rental of real estate (house or apartment) in the territory of Serbia with confirmation from the owners. All available papers along with the application for residence permit are submitted from Russia to the Serbian Embassy in Moscow. Residence permit is given for 1 year with the possibility of extension to 3 years. If you have an employer in Serbia, you can get a residence permit for 1 year. Documents from the employer company and the application for a residence permit are filed in Russia.
3
When buying real estate in the country, the buyer receives a residence permit in the country in stages: the first term is up to six months, then more. To obtain a residence permit when buying real estate, it is necessary to submit to the authorities papers confirming the transaction and the right to own an apartment or a house, as well as documents on permanent income in Serbia or abroad (an annuity contract if you are renting a house in Russia, certificate of salary or bank statement accounts).
4
One of the ways to immigrate to Serbia for young people is to enter one of the country's universities. To obtain a temporary residence permit, you need to submit a package of documents from the university and confirmation of the financial condition (statements of accounts, certificates of tuition, etc.). Studying at a university allows you to stay in Serbia until you graduate. On average, training takes from 4 to 6 years. There is the possibility of admission to graduate school and doctoral studies, as well as further employment at universities and research centers of the country (mainly located in Belgrade).
5
Serbian permanent residence can be obtained after 5 years of residence with a temporary residence permit. Obtaining citizenship of Serbia is possible after 8 years of living in the country, subject to knowledge of the language. The presence of a Serbian spouse and joint children, as well as the presence of proven Serbian ancestors (confirmed by relevant documents) or a significant contribution to the country's culture and economy accelerates the acquisition of permanent residence and citizenship.
note
Serbian citizenship allows you to visit Schengen countries without a visa for a period of 3 months.
Helpful advice
Registration of firms is best done on the territory of Russia, since in Serbia itself the process may be delayed.
