In order to track a parcel that has been exported from Germany to your country, first of all, you need to find out the international tracking number, which is assigned to the parcel without fail. The parcel identification number will be sent to your e-mail immediately after shipment. After a few days, you can track the package using the tracking number on the website of the German State Postal Service (DHL).

Instruction manual
1
Find out the unique code for your package. To track mail shipments from Germany, there is a website of the state postal service, which notifies the addressee of the shipment by e-mail. Knowing the cargo number will help you track your package.
2
Convert the parcel code to a unique tracking number. To do this, use the DHL website "Track and Trace". In the active field in the form (the only form field), enter the parcel code and click the search button, which is located near the active field. So, if the parcel has already passed the export operation, an inscription with your thirteen-digit code will appear in a new window.
3
Find out where your parcel is located on the German Public Service website. Enter your data in a special form for the search for items, which consists of two active fields. In the upper field - a unique tracking number, in the lower - the date of shipment in the required format.
4
Click on the "Finden" button, which is located immediately next to the active field, in which you enter data on the date your cargo was sent. After carrying out this operation, information will be indicated in a new window that appears, thanks to which you can find out the location of your cargo.
5
Count the arrival date of the parcel. To do this, use the information received after a request on the DHL website. Add 1-3 business days to the date of export of your parcel to the international dispatch center.
6
Track the parcel already in your country. To do this, at least seven days must pass after the export operation. The necessary information will be available on the website of the country's national post office.
note
If a request for a tracking number on a specialized resource appears in the corresponding window, the inscription in German "Sendung in das Ausland" appears, this means that your package has not yet been sent to the destination country. Check the information in a few days.
Useful advice
Pay attention to the tracking number of your package. It must contain thirteen characters: four letters and numbers. In this case, the last two letters DE are unchanged, and the first two can change. Meanwhile, the most common of them are RK and RG. The remaining characters - nine digits - distinguish the tracking numbers of the parcels.
