What could be easier than sending a parcel by mail? I never asked such a question, since sending a package takes a minimum of time, I thought until the moment I myself had to do it. It turns out that even in this case, one should follow the instructions.

Instruction manual

You have come to the post office, and here you need to purchase a box. Actually, in it your gifts will go to the addressee. Boxes of different sizes are sold at the post office, so choose the optimal one in size based on the calculation of your gifts. So you bought a box and you can safely carry it home, if your items for departure are at home, if not, then you can safely start folding. Remember that the box should be packaged well, leaving no distance between objects, as during transportation, they may lose their integrity. It is advisable to put empty spaces between objects with unnecessary paper or newspapers. If you ask the postal service operator, they have paper available so that the parcels arrive in integrity.
It’s a daredevil, the beginning - the box for the parcel (which you bought) is closed in a cunning way, and you need to have the knack for quickly closing the parcel. It is best to ask a knowledgeable person to do this if you are still in the mail. The same operator will help you.

Your next steps are to fill out two (optional) receipts. You will need to enter your passport details, the parcel destination address and the sender address in them - in case of an unfortunate combination of circumstances. Also in this receipt you estimate the cost of the package. Advice to those who are slightly worried about the contents of the package: the lower the cost of the package is indicated, the less you will pay.
Next, you duplicate the data from the receipt to the parcel and together with the passport and receipts you give to the postal service operator. The operator weighs the parcel and calculates the amount that must be paid for the shipment. After paying the cost of the parcel, the operator pastes it with a special tape and gives one receipt to you (do not confuse with the inventory).
