Instruction manual
1
Choose the type of mail order that suits you best. Russian Post provides several types of similar services, differing in cost and delivery speed. The CyberMoney system operates on the territory of Russia and the former union states; you can receive a transfer at any post office. The cost of the service depends on the amount and the country to which you send the money: in Russia - up to 5%, to other countries - up to 7% of the transfer amount. In addition to this, a fixed fee of 25 rubles is charged (data for 2012).
2
You can also ship via Western Union. This system is not available in all post offices. The cost of sending money in such a system is higher, but it has its advantages - money comes in a few hours, they can be sent almost all over the world.
3
Having decided how you want to send the required amount, come to the post office with a passport. Fill out a special money transfer form, in which you need to indicate your last name, first name and patronymic, address, passport number, amount and purpose of the transfer, addressee coordinates - name and address. When sending Western Union, it will be enough to indicate the country and city where the person lives. Verify that the information you provided is correct.
4
Hand over the form and money to the mail officer. From him you will receive a paper stating that the transfer is complete. In some cases, a special verification code will be indicated on it, which you will need to inform the addressee. Without it, receiving money will be impossible. Also warn the person to whom you are sending money that he can only receive it with a passport.
note
Before visiting your nearest post office, check on the postal service website what money transfer services are provided there.
Useful advice
If there is such an opportunity, send not a few small amounts, but all the money at once. The larger the amount to send. The cheaper it will be in percentage terms.
