According to Russian labor laws, workers in an industry or organization have the right to form unions to protect their professional interests. And in order for such an organization to really be useful, you need to know how to draw up its activities.
Instruction manual
1
Find like-minded people to create a union. At least three people must become founders. Organize a team meeting with them to formalize the status of a public organization. No permission is required either from government bodies or from the employer, but it is still advisable for the latter to inform about the creation of the organization.
2
Design a meeting program. In addition to the question of the establishment of the trade union itself, it is advisable to hold elections for the head and secretary of the organization, as well as adopt its charter. At the meeting, keep a record of those present and the protocol, which should indicate the main decisions taken at the meeting, as well as the result of the vote.
3
In the text of the union’s charter, describe the goals and objectives of the organization, the conditions of membership, the procedure for paying membership dues, the structure of the organization. It is also advisable in the same document to determine the frequency of meetings of the trade union committee.
4
Register for a union. By law, it is voluntary, but an official union will have a better chance of successfully defending workers' rights. Contact the Federal Registration Service with the necessary documents: the charter of the trade union, the minutes of the general meeting, information about the founders. Fill in the application for registration of the union as a legal entity on the spot.
5
After receiving the registration certificate, open the bank account of the union as a legal entity. It will be used to manage membership fees. Five days after the start of the account, contact the tax authority at the place of registration of the union, after which your organization will be included in the register of taxpayers.
note
If your union is refused to register as a legal entity, you can re-apply.
