Instruction manual
1
Since the foundation is a legal entity, find the founders to open it. There can be at least two people. The board of the foundation may consist of the same people. For a charitable foundation, it is advisable not to “inflate” the state in order to use more funds for charity and not for remuneration. The decision to create a fund is recorded in the protocol, which is signed by all the founders and members of the board.
2
Create a board of trustees. This body will monitor the work of the fund and represent its interests. The Board of Trustees should consist of well-known and influential people. The Board of Trustees must consist of at least three people. The entry of each new member is possible only by his written application.
3
Choose the president of the fund and the chairman of the board by voting of all the co-founders. Write an order for the president and chairman to take office.
4
Come up with a fund name, tagline, logo. Write a charter and work program. The charter is written on the basis of the Federal Law on Non-Profit Organizations No. 7. Buy and register a domain, start making a website. The time for consideration of an application for registration of a fund may vary from one to two months. Therefore, by the time you receive the documents, you should already be ready for work.
5
To register a foundation, you will need a legal address. It can be a rented office, or it can be a representation of the address for the provision of postal and secretarial services. In the latter case, you must provide a letter of guarantee and a copy of the certificate of ownership of this property.
6
Fill out an application for registration of a charitable foundation. It is filled on the computer, only the applicant signs on the application. The applicant's signature must be notarized.
7
Submit the collected documents to the Ministry of Justice of your city. A week after filing, call and find out if the case is transferred to production and to whom exactly.
