Before sprinkling the house with holy water, you need to clean all the things, wash the windows, floors, wipe off the dust, wipe the mirrors, wash the curtains. The rooms should not have excess objects and clutter. Cleaning can be done on any day except Sunday.

Make sure there is enough light in the rooms. Do not sprinkle the house with the curtains closed. It is better to sprinkle the house on Sunday. Before this, it is advisable to visit the temple and take a blessing from the priest. The sprinkling of the home can be carried out without blessing.
3
Before starting the process, wash your hands. A loan is needed to pour holy water into a clean bowl. Keep in mind that under no circumstances should you use a bowl that animals have touched. It is best to buy a new bowl. When you begin to sprinkle at home, you need to read a prayer for blessed deeds.
4
Sprinkle from the red corner. The red corner is located in the central room diagonally from the entrance. In the red corner should be an iconostasis or icon. You need to stand in front of the corner, scoop up some holy water with your right hand, crosswise spray the corner and say the following: "In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen."
5
Then you need to go around the room clockwise and sprinkle the remaining corners, walls, ceiling and floor in the same way. Be careful not to step on drops of water that fall on the floor. Holy water should not fall under the shoes. It is best to take off your shoes before sprinkling and carry out the procedure barefoot. After sprinkling the room, recite the prayer to the “Life-giving Cross”.
6
After sprinkling the central room, sprinkle the rest of the rooms, the kitchen, the bathroom and the hallway in the same way. In the bathroom you need to sprinkle only the corners. The toilet is not sprinkled with holy water. Having sprinkled the whole apartment, read the prayer to "Holy Martyr Blasius, Bishop of Sebaste."
7
After you have sprinkled the whole house, draw a cross on each wall and above the front door. Use chalk or pencil. They, too, should be illuminated by the order in which things are illuminated.
8
If you have moved to a new house, you must definitely sprinkle it with holy water and clean it. Hang in the red corner the icon of the Mother of God or the Savior. Light a candle and read a prayer for blessed works. Then sprinkle the whole house. Sprinkling the new dwelling with holy water is the same as sprinkling the dwelling in which you live.
