Collect the documents necessary for receiving a pension. You will definitely need: - passport; - pension insurance certificate (SNILS); - marriage certificate or other documents confirming the change of name; - work book or other documents confirming your seniority; - salary certificates for 2000 and 2001, etc. You can find out more detailed lists of required documents on the website of the Pension Fund of Russia http://www.pfrf.ru/list_of_documents/ or in your regional branch of the PFR.

Remove all documents from the copy. Check that your full names are correctly indicated everywhere. If there is a discrepancy in at least one letter, you will not be able to apply for a pension, and therefore receive a pension certificate.

Apply with a ready-made package of documents to the regional branch of the Pension Fund and write a statement there in the prescribed form. Please note that if any documents are missing, you will be able to provide them later under Law No. 173-FZ. In this case, the FIU employee will have to issue you the corresponding receipt-notification, in which the list of missing documents will be indicated, as well as the time frame by which you will need to provide them.

Collect and submit the missing documents to the Pension Fund. Wait until the FIU employees check all the information you provided, calculate your pension and issue a pension certificate.

Please note that the pension certificate must be issued to you free of charge. However, in practice, sometimes it happens that blank forms of certificates are simply not available, and then people have to buy them at their own expense. You can find forms for sale at Rospechat kiosks, stationery stores, etc.

Do not panic if you lose your retirement certificate. Making a duplicate of a document is relatively easy. Please contact your personnel department or the pension fund directly with the appropriate application and wait for it to be issued.
