Administrative complaint is a means of out-of-court settlement of disputes. As a rule, citizens file administrative complaints with higher authorities regarding the actions of various officials.

Before filing a complaint, specify in whose name you will file it. The text of the administrative complaint is arbitrary, but it is necessary to adhere to the general rules for writing such appeals.

In the upper right part of the sheet in A4 format, indicate to whom your complaint is addressed, namely, the name of the official and the position held by him. Just below, through an empty line, write who the complaint is coming from, that is, provide your details and your home address. It is useful to indicate your passport details and phone number.

Below, in the center of the sheet, write the word "Complaint" and from the new paragraph reveal the essence of your problem. Try to write briefly and to the point, be sure to indicate the specific nature of your requirements. The more clearly the essence of the appeal is expressed, the easier it will be for the addressee to give you an answer. If you describe the actions or inaction of officials, provide all possible documentary evidence. Indicate the numbers and dates of documents in the text, so that it would be easier for officials who are examining your complaint to understand the essence of the problem.

If there is a need to attach copies of any documents to the complaint, then after the main text write the word "Appendix" and in order, in a column, under the numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.) indicate the names of the attached documents. Since copies are usually attached, then after specifying the name of the document, write in brackets the word "copy".

Do not forget to put a date at the end of the document, indicate your surname and initials, sign it. Print the finished document in two copies. You will transfer one to the supervisory authority where you are addressing the complaint, on the second you will be marked with its receipt. It is better to file a complaint in person rather than send it by mail. In the latter case, the risk is great that your paper will simply be sent to the ballot box, as there is no real evidence of its receipt.

It is very important to choose the supervisory authority. If you contact the wrong address, at best they will answer that your complaint cannot be examined, and it is unlikely that they will give the address of the necessary authority. In the event that you do not know where to apply, send your complaint to the prosecutor. From there, it will be forwarded to the appropriate authority with the requirement to provide you with an answer on the merits of the matter. One month is given for consideration of a complaint.
Helpful advice
If you will draw up the complaint text in a printed form for sending by e-mail, then to put a signature, print it on the printer, and then scan it.
