There is a certain type of people to whom the process of “reading” is uncomfortable and does not like by definition - however, this does not mean at all that such people are not interested in literature at all. We have to look for other ways to get acquainted with the book: for example, listen to it in audio format.
You will need
- - audio player;
- - Personal Computer.
Instruction manual
1
Reading an audio book involves playing it. The text of the work is read literally by the announcer; an additional accompaniment is a neutral musical background, which can vary depending on the logical tension of the episode. Variations in the format of an "audio performance" (especially often for plays) are also possible, when each character is voiced by a separate actor. You can listen to the book in any setting if this does not distract you too much: before going to bed, lying in bed; in a car; in public transport or during work - the question is only in technical means.
2
If you purchased the product on a CD, then for playback you will need a regular playing device, whether it be a PC, disk player or car radio. The book is recorded in the form of several separate audio tracks arranged in chronological order (one track is actually equal to one chapter), and switching between them is similar to changing a song in the player.
3
To copy a book from a disk to a PC, you should use a special software. If you try to copy through the "Explorer", then just create shortcuts to the tracks without moving the audio itself. The easiest option is to use the built-in player in Windows: the "Copy from CD" function is available by default (in different versions, the link to it changes its location), which will help you carry out the correct transfer to the hard drive.
4
Downloaded files can be handled like regular.mp3 format songs. This implies that they can be placed on a flash drive and played from it (if the player supports this function) or transferred to an mp-3 player and listened there. The same is true for audio books downloaded from the Internet: they are usually immediately saved in a convenient format.
