The married couple of Irina and Araz Agalarov are a vivid example of stability, love and respect for each other. Few successful entrepreneurs can boast of the absence of scandals and scenes of jealousy. And the Agalarovs have been honoring family traditions and doing successful business for forty years.
Love from school
Irina Agalarova for many is a symbol of a successful woman. And not surprisingly: to live with one husband for so many years, to support him at the beginning of his career, to raise two wonderful children. And while not "light up" in any scandal. We also need to look for such an oligarch who has lived with his wife for so many years, not succumbing to the temptation to have a young passion. Of course, here is completely the merit of Irina Iosifovna. Her wisdom, ability to rebuild, value her relationships.
Irina Iosifovna Grill was born in Baku. As she herself says, many nationalities are mixed in her blood, but Azerbaijani culture is closer to her. Irina graduated from school in Baku, and then entered the Pedagogical Institute at the Linguistic Faculty. After graduating, she worked as a teacher at school. Irina met her future husband Araz Agalarov back in school, where they studied together. After school, their paths diverged briefly - Araz studied at the Polytechnic University. But in the last year, lovers still got married.
Double relocation
In 1979, the couple had a son, Emin. Araz worked at a research institute when, in 1983, work forced the family to move to Moscow. Irina in a new place was not taken aback, she began to teach. And the spouse’s business just went uphill. He founded his own company and at first what he did not do. Before the collapse of the USSR, he founded the Crocus Group company together with his father-in-law. The unstable political and economic situation in the country forces Agalarov to move to the USA. Moreover, two children were already growing up in the family (in 1987, the couple had a daughter, Sheila), and the parents thought about their further education.
For ten years spent abroad, Irina began to help her husband conduct a development business. The children received a good education: Emin studied in Switzerland after the USA, Leila graduated from the American school of fashion and design. When the children grew up, Irina began to fly home more often. Cases demanded that Araz be constantly present in Moscow. So Irina Iosifovna turned the American page of her life. But in the states, the daughter of Leila, to whom Irina often flies, remained to live. Son Emin returned to Moscow and took the position of vice president in his father’s business.
