From the biography of Aristarchus Livanov
The future popular actor was born on March 17, 1947 in Kiev. The name Aristarchus received in honor of his grandfather: he was a clergyman; he was shot in 1938.
Parents of Aristarchus met during the war. Mom worked in the hospital, was a lieutenant in the medical service. And my father was in the hospital after being wounded. After some time, young people decided to start a family.
After the war, Livanov’s parents worked at the Pioneer House, where they led a children's club. They taught the children to create dolls. And then they staged children's performances. Aristarchus has a younger brother Igor, who also became a famous actor.
Aristarchus began to dream about the acting profession from about the fifth grade. He enjoyed attending a studio run by his dad and mom. However, for himself, Livanov decided that he would work not in a puppet, but in a real drama theater.
Upon graduation, Aristarchus went to Leningrad, where he entered the Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography. In 1969, Livanov graduated from high school. However, the real success came to the actor when the multi-part film “State Border” was released. Here Aristarkh Evgenievich played the White Guard.
