Short biography and career of Mikhail Mikhailovich Evlanov
On March 26, 1976, a future favorite of the public was born in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region. Since Mikhail’s parents were not alien to the world of art and culture (his father is a graduate of the Institute of Culture, and his mother is a certified teacher of choreography), the choice of profession does not seem to be the most creative today.
However, Mikhail's childhood hobbies were exclusively military addictions. He was well versed in military equipment and was a fan of the army, collecting military insignia and even dressing in the style of "military". And then there was a search for yourself. First, Yevlanov enters the Tver Suvorov School, from where he will soon be expelled for violation of discipline, then he graduates from high school and briefly ends up in the cadet corps in Petrodvorets. He leaves this place already of his own free will, realizing that he was created for acting. But ahead of him there was an urgent service and several unsuccessful attempts to enter the theater universities of Moscow.
At the stage prior to enrolling in the Moscow State Academy of Water Transport at the Faculty of Law, he had to work as a waiter, security guard, janitor in a cemetery and a bread packer, and completed courses for a pastry chef and an accountant and economist. But it was precisely at this time that Mikhail clearly crystallized his stubborn character and determination. After graduating from the capital's university, Evlanov still manages to enter the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts on the course of Grigory Serebryany and Grigory Kozlov.
After completing his acting education, Mikhail Yevlanov began working at the A. Bryantsev Theater for Young People, at the Mokhovaya Theater and host at a local radio station.
Mikhail was able to make his film debut while still a student at a theater university, with episodic roles in popular TV shows, such as, for example, Streets of Broken Lights. And in 2004, the actor has already been awarded the Triumph Prize for the military action movie Svoyo. And then followed a series of successful film works, which made Evlanova truly famous. The following projects can be especially distinguished in the artist’s rather wide filmography: "9 Company" (2005), "Friend or Foe" (2007), "Inhabited Island" (2008), "Village Romance" (2009), "Way to Yourself" (2010), "Summer of the Wolves" (2012), "Bedouin" (2012), "Yalta-45" (2012), "Once Upon a Time in Rostov" (2012), "Night Swallows" (2013), "One" (2015), "Night Watch" (2016).
