Biography
Over his long life, Evgeny Blinov has seen many of the country's events. He was born in the era of the formation of Soviet power - in 1925. As a teenager, Eugene met the war, felt the difficult post-war years. He survived Perestroika, the collapse of the USSR. Evgeny Blinov lived for 93 years. The famous balalaika died in November 2018.
Childhood
Evgeny Blinov was born in the village of Serebryanka. This settlement was located near a small river with the same name, which flows into the Chusovaya River.
Eugene had a mother, Alexandra Mikhailovna and father Grigory Nikolaevich.
The dad of the future musician himself played well on the balalaika and guitar, while the parent worked as an accountant in the factory. Husband and wife loved music. They even met in a church choir, as both sang here. And in 1918, Alexandra and Gregory tied the knot.
At this time, the Civil War was booming. When the Reds came to the village of Serebryanka, they appointed Grigory Nikolayevich Blinov as the plant manager.
Moving
Several years passed when the husband and wife of the Blinovs decided to leave for Nevyansk, and then to the larger - Sverdlovsk. In this city, Grigory Nikolaevich became the chief accountant of the plant.
First, this couple had a boy, Eugene. Parents called him just that, because the father of the child was very fond of the opera Eugene Onegin. After 3 years, another boy appeared in the family. Zhenya's younger brother, it was decided to call Vladimir. This name was given to the boy by his father, so the second hero of the opera Eugene Onegin was called Vladimir Lensky.
The family often changed their place of residence. When Eugene was 6 years old, he left for Kazakhstan with his parents and brother. Here his father again worked as chief accountant.
At this age, the boy began to learn to play the balalaika. The basics of playing this instrument were given to him by the coachman Semyon.
At the age of 8, the boy first appeared on the stage and played the balalaika.
In 1937, Eugene’s father was arrested and sentenced to 10 years.
Then the mother of Evgeny Grigoryevich decided to leave with her children to the Urals to her brother. Alexandra Mikhailovna and her sons lived in one dark room. Due to a lack of light, Eugene's vision began to set.
Music
At the age of 15, Evgeny Blinov decided to enter the Sverdlovsk College of Music. He successfully passed the exams, although he played by ear, not knowing the notes. Soon the Great Patriotic War began. The young man, along with classmates, spoke to the Soviet military, the guys also played in hospitals.
Post-war time
In 1946, Evgeny Grigoryevich entered the Kiev Conservatory. When he was in his last year, he began to teach at the children's music school in this city.
Then he received a higher musical education, began to work at the department of folk instruments until 1962. Then the musician was awarded the title of assistant professor.
